Where do you do your best thinking?

Posted on Jan 12th, 2008 by Megan : weaver-of-peace Megan
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for January 12, 2008:

Often thoughts come while doing the dishes or in bed, right before sleep.  I have to get up or run with my soapy hands to get a pen and paper right then and write down the thought because I don't want it to escape.  Usually they are exceptional thoughts, too.  Which inspire me on to greater heights.  These ideas burn brightly in life, furnacing the whole room of my being.

The Bible say something along the lines of "if your eye is clear, then your whole body will be clear."  This is true with our ideas.  If your soul or your ideas run clear, free of dirt, then your whole spirit mind and body should be totally clear on a certain matter.

Summoning the Day

Posted on Jan 9th, 2008 by Megan : weaver-of-peace Megan
Sometimes a day is crossing over that breach of space from one part of your life to another.  And that was yesterday for me.

We went to the U.  My brother and I, scaling steps to cross over from one side of the university to the next symbolized all I was feeling.  A new beginning, Air puffing inside our lungs - means out with the old and in with the new.  A New Year, a new life, a new beginning.

The changes being made were going to school. not doubting myself, and being strong. Previously I had doubted myself to the point of excess.  I dropped out of school.  I was weak towards any opposition.  Not now, not anymore.

At the gym.  It symbolized all I felt about starting this new life.  The eliptical machines.  I breathed hard, and slowed down when needed.  Warm fresh blood finally pumping to my cold dead arms and legs.  Life was not failing, but starting anew.

Are you a creature of habit?

Posted on Jan 4th, 2008 by Megan : weaver-of-peace Megan
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for January 04, 2008:

I am essentially, yes.  But every once in a whiles I like to do something out of the ordinary.  Random.  Different.  Special.  As long as habits are good, they can help manage our life to be more solid and filled with meaning.  We only experience problems when we get stuck in a rut.  When these habits become meaningless and rote.

Remember that time is your money that you're here on this earth and you must use it as you see fit.

What gift will you give the world today?

Posted on Dec 25th, 2007 by Megan : weaver-of-peace Megan
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for December 24, 2007:

The gift of just being.  Just being like yourself is essential for life and work and love.  To just be genuinely like yourself is important and is a gift for everyone by letting go of all my falseness and pretenses.
